FAQ'S
THE MOST COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT GOAL SETTING
#1
Q: Why bother setting goals when I’ve got through life so far ok?
A: Goal setting isn’t to keep you alive. It’s a gamechanger tool that will enable you to make the most out of life while you are alive. We can either live the width and length of life or just the length. Goal setters are out to live both!
Goal setting and the work done around it gets you understanding: where you are at in life now, where do you want to be in 5 years? 3 years? 1 year? And how we create a clear, focused path to get you to that vision. We teach you little strategies that when combined together makes a big difference.
So, if you want to live a life you love, that’s making the most out of the width and length of life, join us for some gamechanger goal setting workshops, events, books etc.

Q: Most of my clients tell me I don't charge enough (It’s a statement yes, but one that comes up a lot)
A: If you don't really get it, it might seem expensive. But when you 'get it' you realise the value that this can give your life, goal after goal for the rest of your life.
What value do you put on your time?
What value do you put on someone, or a strategy you learn that will result in:
- you gaining a $20k payrise?
- or losing 15 kgs that you couldn’t on your own?
- or getting the supportive help through a divorce or tough time in life, seeing you be more calm because you are focusing on your goals, who you want to be, and where you want to be?
What value do you put on getting the most out of your life and someone keeping you accountable which can be the difference between you achieving your goals this year, or not achieving them?
Goal coaching the way My Goal Squad, is designed to empower you with the skills so you don’t need us forever. You are equipped and can apply it to any and all areas and times in your life. That is invaluable. Education is what we focus on, not being a crutch you will depend on. We love to see you free, achieving kick arse goals for and by yourself.

Q: How many 1: 1 sessions does it take?
A: This depends on where you are in your goalsetting? If you are new, I would recommend starting with 2 sessions which would ideally occur 2 weeks apart. This allows time for you to work on the goals you set for the next couple of weeks, hit challenges and be able to reach out and get through them with your goal coach.
1st session: We go through your values, vision and your 3 year, 2 year, 1 year kick arse goals.
2nd session: We take your kick arse 1 year goals and break them down to your monthly and weekly actions so you can get them into your everyday!
If you want seriously big results and accountability, then we recommend 1 x 1 on 1 session, followed by The Big Life Accountability Membership (2 months of weekly check in's are included in the package, but when you extend it to 6 months, it can be a game changer). Often those within your immediate network don’t have the time, energy and space to check over what you are doing and help you through without a biased opinion. That’s why goal coaches are perfect.

Q: Why do I need a Goal Coach to keep me accountable when my partner can?
A: Often those within your immediate network don’t have the time, energy and space to check over what you are doing and help you through without a biased opinion. They can have a biased opinion which may impact you achieving your goal if it doesn’t fit in with what they are wanting in life.
We support you in sharing your goals with your partner to get their support and understanding, however relying on them to keep you on track, help you through the challenges and tell you to go the gym or to your study to spend 3 hours writing your book you want to publish while they watch tv, isn’t always helpful or making it easy.
Goal coaches, mentors or people that are removed so you respect their input, they are unbiased and are dedicated to you getting results is the best way to go in our opinion.
